  • Long Live Beerworks | Boston 152 Hampden St Boston United States (map)

On June 22nd, Malia Lazu, ally Michael Feldman, key black historians, scholars, leaders of the Jewish and Muslim faith, artists, and cultural flamekeepers will gather for an intimate discussion on what it means to celebrate Juneteenth. We will explore how to shape a tradition that honors and preserves intergenerationally the history this date holds for Black people, how white people can participate in a way that supports and serves, and how we can collectively ensure the sacredness of Juneteenth is safeguarded with integrity and meaningful actions that moves all observers from intention to impact.

We will begin at 5pm with food from Fresh Food Generation and Beer from Long Live Beerworks and then the program will begin at 6pm.

*The taproom will also be open to the public during this event.
